A Burden Stirred
I don't know how many Fresno Fire wives this blog will reach. My prayer is many. And my prayer for the last couple of weeks had begun with a burden. A burden stirred in my heart for FFD wives. For us to be more connected, to build friendships, enjoy fellowship, support one another, be real with each other, pray for each other.
I don't like going to some function or even just a station and not knowing a wife's name, or anything about her. We have so much in common and our husbands have such a camaraderie. Why can't we have that?? Why can't we really know each other. Why can't we have a few ladies we can call when we are at home for 48 hours at a time on our own, with kids, and we need something- a talk, a sitter, a meal, a gallon of milk.
Our first meeting is Tuesday, Novemeber 2nd at 7:30 at my house. I am praying that if you can spare an hour or so, to please join us. I just want feedback from you ladies. I want to hear your thoughts and ideas, and make plans. Plans to grow our friendships and be encouraged in the Lord.
